In 2012, a new program was created to provide financial support to clubs to support marketing and publicity activities in their communities. It was updated in 2019. This program reimburses clubs for 80% of their expenditures on marketing and publicity initiatives to a maximum of $1,000.
For example: A SAC club has spent $1,250 on marketing initiatives for the year. The club would be eligible to receive $1000 in financial support from SAC. SAC would cover 80% of the $1,250 in marketing expenses which would reduce the club's expense to $250.
Claims under this program must be submitted prior to December 1st of the year in which the club’s marketing and publicity expenditures took place. The expenses must be supported by receipts or invoices marked paid.
If your club in interested in making receiving funding through this program or if you have any questions, please contact the SAC Treasurer.
