SAC administers a comprehensive insurance program that provides both aircraft (towplanes & gliders) and airfield insurance to clubs and individuals. The insurance is arranged through Gallagher Aerospace, an insurance broker located in Calgary.

Pilots insured through the SAC Insurance Plan must be members of the Soaring Association of Canada.

Pilots that fly with PowerFlarm in their gliders are also eligible for a 5% discount on their insurance through the SAC Insurance Plan.
