The Canadian Soaring Team is selected by the Soaring Association of Canada based on combined results from the best 2 out of 3 previous National Soaring Championships and/or International competitions.

The 2014 World Gliding Championships are being hosted in two locations.

15 Meter, 18 Meter and Open classes in Leszno, Poland in August 2014

Standard, Club and  World classes in Räyskälä, Finland.
